High-performance Tar Modified Epoxy Protective Coating
isocoalta is a two part solvent-free tar modified epoxy coating with high abrasion resistant capacity .Provides extreme protection to concrete and metal structures at all weather conditions. It is specially formulated to provide single coat application up to 600 microns dry film thickness. It has high resistance to abrasion and impact. It has excellent chemical resistance against diluted acids, alkalis, salts, minerals, oils, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and seawater.
It is an ideal water proofing system suitable for sewage treatment plants, and as a corrosion control in shipbuilding. Suitable for underground steel and concrete foundations, penstock pipelines etc

The proper surface preparation is essential for a successful application .For concrete surfaces applications, remove all deteriorated and loose concrete, form release agents, oil, grease, laitance, dust, dirt and efflorescence by dry or wet sandblast, shot blast, or high-pressure water .Repair deeper areas using isoflex recommended material. For steel surface should be sand blasted to commercial grade.
Mix both components in a clean container as per specified ratio until a homogenous mixture obtained .It is very essential that both components are thoroughly mixed .Keep still for 5 to 7 minutes induction time to allow bubbles burst prior to application.
Can be applied conventionally by brush or roller and air less spray (.Nozzle Orifice 0.38 – 0.46 mm. Nozzle Pressure 1138 - 1710 psi. Dilution 0 - 5% Thinner #135) It is recommended to apply several coats instead of one thick coat to prevent entrapments of bubbles.
